WHITE | HOT

Heading into summer and warmer temperatures means bringing out all the white from your wardrobe. As you know I love a simple dress that can easily be dressed up or down. This Zouma dress from Clayton is made from a stretchy, wide rib knit fabric that makes it easy to pull on and off (especially since there are no zippers on this dress). Not to pale in comparison to every other white dress out there, this dress features a unique cut out detail on the front. The cutout is placed perfectly, right at the upper abdomen which is the most flattering and flattest part of the stomach.

Since I wore this dress out during the daytime, I draped my favorite lightweight open cardigan with this look. I am so obsessed with this cardigan that I may have bought it in every color. This is the perfect layering piece for summer.

To add a little statement to this basic black and white look, I wore some fun, fringe heels to create movement when I walk. Because this outfit is fitted and doesn’t have much volume and flow, pairing it with these heels definitely catches some attention.

Style Tip | Add dimension or movement to a fitted look with a layering piece like an oversized cardigan, flowy duster, or some dramatic shoes.

I love a piece of clothing that has a special feature so this cut-out is perfect. Just big enough but not too revealing.
