We saw fringe in summer (remember festival season?), and here we are a few weeks shy of fall and fringe is back. But this time in leather! There is something energetic and fun about fringe. The movement of the individual stripes swaying together, the peek-a-boo of skin underneath the layers, or the reminiscence of 60’s fashion, fringe is fabulous and we all need some of it for fall.
This vegan leather, fringe skirt from ASTARS will definitely be on major repeat this fall and winter. What I love about this skirt is its street style vibe. It can be paired with just about any top and shoes to create an amazing outfit. For this look I styled it with my go-to slouchy tee also from ASTARS, which falls slightly off the shoulder and tucks messily into the elastic waist of the skirt. I like the balance between a more casual top and a fitted skirt.
To complement this look, I added velvet platforms from Solewish (another hot trend for fall). The platform of the shoe highlights the era which fringe is known for but in a modern twist.
