Clothes inspire me. Different eras inspire me. When I saw this vibrant, orange top from the Australian label, Bless’ed Are The Meek, I was drawn to the bell sleeves. Immediately I felt the urge to play up the sleeves and go for a seventies look. This top is actually part of a matched set paired with a midi, knit, tube skirt, but I ditched the skirt because I just love the color orange styled with its contrasting color, blue (reminds me of a sunset against the azure sky).
The long, bell sleeves of this top are balanced out by a more cropped hemline. I wanted to avoid showing too much of my mid section, so I wore my high waist, denim shorts from Zara (sold out but I linked similar favorites below). To complement the seventies vibe, I added this amazing, stitched choker from Dirrty Glam, platform, lace-up heels , and round sunglasses from Zero UV.
If you could dress for any era, which would you pick? The roaring 30’s, rock-n-roll 60’s, or the grunge 90’s?
