These balloon sleeves give me life! There’s nothing like a crisp, white shirt that makes an outfit pop. Add some oversized sleeves, a wrap belt, and a deep v neckline and you’ve got yourself an amazing statement top (and it’s under $40!). With the summer heat encroaching upon us, a simple denim cutoff skirt complements this shirt perfectly. Because this blouse is so feminine and light, I wanted to balance it with some masculine pieces like this unisex watch from Leonard & Church. I love this oversized, chronograph timepiece with a crocodile strap. It has just enough of that masculine touch this outfit needs. To add a little more edge to this eye-catching top, I opted for studded booties from ASOS (they no longer carry these so I linked some similar pairs below). What are some of your go-to summer statement pieces?

OMG, I need your skirt! I’ve been looking for one that looks IDENTICAL to that basically. Also, your booties are to-die-for <3 Great styling as always, Christine! xo, sharon

Thanks Sharon! This is old, but I actually took it, cut the hem off the skirt and made my own distressing. =)
